When Sunnyside East Village launches, membership will be open to seniors living in Happy Valley/Clackamas, as shown on our Village map.
All members will have access to the full range of social, recreational, cultural, and educational events and activities that we offer. Following the model established by other Villages in Villages NW, there will be a choice of membership levels for services provided by volunteers. For example, Rivers East Village offers three membership levels: Regular includes up to 12 service requests per month for $480/year; Flex includes up to 4 service requests per month for $240/year; and Support includes access to social activities, but no service requests for $60/year. Each Village sets its own pricing structure for memberships; we will update this page when we establish prices for membership in Sunnyside East Village.
Among the services we hope to provide are transportation to doctor appointments and social events; tech support; grocery shopping; handyman services; sewing and mending; decluttering; and more. We will provide a detailed list of services as we get closer to our Village launch date. All volunteers providing services to members will be screened and background checked.
